Archive Unit

The Archive Unit is governed by the laws of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, other normative legal acts, the Regulations on the Archive Unit of the College, and the Rules of Operation of Archive Units.

Each year, the Archive Unit prepares a work plan that is approved by the college director.

The Archive Unit has been operating since the founding of the Lutsk Soviet Trade Technical School on September 1, 1965. In the first years of the school's operation, documents were stored in the structural units and personal files were kept in the methodological office.

The main tasks of the archive are to:

• receive documents from structural units and preserve them;
• control the state of preservation and correctness of documentation in structural units;
• participate in the preparation of the register of files;
• conduct a preliminary examination of the value of documents;
• prepare and submit documents relating to the National Archive Fund to the State Archive;
• issue archive references, copies, and extracts of documents to legal entities and individuals in accordance with established procedures;
• make changes to the archive passport;
• organize documents of historical value;
• check the availability of files.
