Language(s) of the educational process
The language of the educational process in the vocational college is the state language. The principles of the language policy in our institution of vocational pre-university education are determined by the Law of Ukraine "About Education".
The Vocational College ensures the fulfillment of the right of a citizen of Ukraine to acquire vocational pre-higher education in the state language and ensures the compulsory study of the state language to the extent that enables professional activity in the chosen field using the state language. Individuals belonging to the indigenous peoples, national minorities of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless individuals are provided with appropriate conditions for learning the state language.
The vocational college promotes the study of languages of international communication, primarily English. To this end, educational and professional programs provide for the teaching of disciplines in the state and English languages, while ensuring the ability of students of vocational pre-higher education to demonstrate the results of training in the relevant discipline in the state language.
For the training of foreigners, stateless individuals permanently residing in Ukraine, as well as individuals who are recognized as refugees in Ukraine, individuals who need additional or temporary protection, individuals who have been granted the status of a Ukrainian abroad, who are in Ukraine on legal grounds, and are obtaining vocational education at the expense of individuals or legal entities, separate groups can be created or individual educational plans developed, that involve teaching in a foreign language. At the same time, the study of the state language as a separate educational discipline by those individuals is necessarily ensured.
