The Parent Council of the vocational college is a collegial body of public parental self-government of the vocational college, whose powers are determined by Articles 28 and 70 of the Law of Ukraine on Education and the constituent documents of the vocational college.

The Parent Council is convened at least once a year. Generally, the Deputy Director of Educational Work is responsible for organizing the preparation and conduct of meetings. The decisions of such a council, made in accordance with the legislation, are advisory.

The Parent Council exercises its powers on the basis of the Regulations on Parental Self-Government.
